RDC series constant wattage heating cables use the core conductors as the heating element; when the core conductors are connected to the power supply, they generate joule heat uniformly along the entire cable length, and the heating value per unit length remains constant. Thus, power output at the terminal end does not decrease relative to the beginning end as cable length increases. This type is suitable for long pipelines and large-diameter pipelines ’for heat tracing and thermal insulation, with power supplied from a single power point.
