Electric Trace Heating Scope

Freeze protection and thermal insulation for pipelines, storage tanks and equipment involved in new construction, technical renovation, maintenance and repair works of all subsidiaries, secondary units, design institutes and other affiliated institutions under Jilin Oilfield.

Electric trace heating is adopted for pipelines in oil production and refining processes, including process pipelines, crude oil pipelines, water pipelines and other heat-tracing required equipment. Self-regulating or constant-power heating cables are selected and applied in strict accordance with process temperature requirements.
