The housing of this power connection box is manufactured from glass-fiber reinforced PPS. It is used for connecting power cables and heating cables in hazardous explosive areas. Normally mounted on pipelines or building structures. When fitted with heating cables, it is suitable for environments containing explosive gas mixtures.
The box is designed with one inlet and one outlet for power cables and can connect one or two self-regulating heating cables of any model. Cable connections are completed using DIN rail mounted terminal blocks. Nickel-plated brass explosion-proof cable glands can also be installed.
