Benchmarked against international mainstream technologies, PSR is a general low-temperature self-regulating heating cable tailored for basic industrial heat tracing. It maintains a continuous operating temperature of 85°C and withstands transient temperature up to 135°C.

Integrally extruded with parallel bus wires and semiconductive heating matrix, it features PTC characteristics. The cable automatically adjusts power output along its length, boosting heat output at low temperature and reducing power at high temperature. No thermostat is required for regular use, and no overheating or burnout occurs even under overlapping installation. Multiple sheath options suit ordinary, corrosive and hazardous environments, delivering outstanding versatility and cost efficiency.

Product Description
PSR: 85℃ self-regulating heating cable
1.INTRODUCTION
PSR self-regulating heating cables provide the most versatility in heat trace designs and applications. Constructed of a semi-conductive heater matrix extruded between parallel bus wires, a self-regulating cable adjusts its output to independently respond toambient temperatures all along its length. As temperature increases, the heater’ s resistance increases, which lowers the outputwattage. Conversely, as the temperature decreases, the resistance decreases and the cable produces more heat. So thermostatis not necessary in some applications. It will never overheat or burnout even when overlapped. The cable can also be cut to anylength. As the result, we get an energy efficient heating cable. With optional outer jackets, the heating cable is resistant to wateryand inorganic chemicals and protect against abrasion and impact damage.

4.APPLICATION
PSR is designed for pipe heat trace in industrial applications. It is ideally used for process temperature maintenance and frost pro
tection of large diameter pipelines, tanks, valves, flanges and other application where high heat loss happen. It is suitable for
non-hazardous area, and cable with fluoropolymer outer jacket can also be used in hazardous area and corrosive area.
