Project Overview

China National Petroleum Corporation Changqing Oilfield (hereinafter referred to as Changqing Oilfield) is located in the Ordos Basin. It is a world-famous oil and gas field characterized by low permeability, low pressure and low abundance of hydrocarbon resources. Due to the tight reservoir rock, the extraction of oil and gas from underground formations poses great challenges.

Changqing Oilfield has carried out a series of technological researches and continuous innovation. It has developed original geological theories for efficient oil and gas recovery, and mastered core technologies including 3D seismic exploration for loess tableland areas, optimized & rapid horizontal well drilling, and factory-style volume fracturing. These achievements have delivered steady breakthroughs in the development of the "three-low" oil and gas reservoirs.

Electric Trace Heating Scope

Freeze protection and thermal insulation for pipelines, storage tanks and equipment involved in new construction, technical renovation, maintenance and repair works of all subsidiaries, secondary units, design institutes and other affiliated institutions under Changqing Oilfield.

Heat Tracing Solution

Electric trace heating is applied to pipelines across oil production and refining processes, including process pipelines, crude oil pipelines, water pipelines and other heat-required equipment. Corresponding electric trace heating products are selected and deployed in strict accordance with process temperature requirements.
