Project Overview

Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industrial Base is located in the central-eastern part of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The planned area covers 3,484 square kilometers, with a core area of 800 square kilometers. It is a national key development zone approved by the State Council. It has successively been designated as a national 100-million-ton large coal base, multi-million-kilowatt coal power base, modern coal chemical industry demonstration zone and circular economy demonstration zone. It also serves as a pilot area for national industrial transformation and upgrading, comprehensive new urbanization reform and incremental power distribution reform, as well as an important component of China’s Energy Golden Triangle.
