Altun Mountains Tunnel is located in Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, China, crossing the Altun Mountains. It is a key control project of Dunhuang-Dangjin Pass Expressway (part of Liuyuan-Golmud Expressway, National Expressway G3011). Upon completion, it became the highest-altitude expressway tunnel in Gansu Province, known as "the No.1 Plateau Tunnel within Gansu Province".
