LSR is a low-temperature self-regulating heating cable applicable to diverse heat tracing scenarios. It offers a continuous working temperature of 65°C and withstands peak transient temperature up to 85°C.

Fabricated by integrally extruding semiconductive heating matrix between parallel bus wires, it adopts PTC temperature control principle to adjust heating power automatically along the cable. Heat output rises at low temperature and drops as ambient temperature climbs. No thermostat is required under normal operation. Safe overlapping installation avoids overheating and burnout, and the cable can be cut freely on site with excellent energy-saving performance. Equipped with various outer protective layers, it resists moisture and inorganic chemical corrosion, and delivers reliable abrasion and impact resistance.

Application

Designed for low-temperature freeze protection and temperature maintenance. It suits thermal insulation of standard-diameter pipelines, storage tanks, valves and flanges, as well as roof and gutter de-icing and snow melting. The standard type fits hazardous areas, while fluoropolymer sheath version works in corrosive conditions. UV-stabilized thermoplastic sheath adapts to damp locations and outdoor exposure.
