Project Overview

Kenli 10-2 Oilfield is a large lithologic oilfield with 100-million-ton reserves discovered in the Bohai Sea. Its proven geological reserves exceed 100 million tons. Located in the shallow formation of Laizhou Bay Sag, it is about 245 kilometers away from Tianjin, with an average water depth of 15.7 meters. Full commissioning is scheduled for 2025, which will help the Bohai Oilfield hit the annual output target of 40 million tons.

The CEPC module of Kenli 10-2 Oilfield weighs over 20,000 tons, making it the heaviest module in the Bohai Oilfield so far. It functions as the central processing platform for heavy oil thermal recovery and cold recovery. TMCP high-strength steel is adopted for the first time in this project.
