Project Overview

Karamay Oilfield is also known as Xinjiang Oilfield. Its operator, Xinjiang Oilfield Company, is the largest petroleum producer in western China and an affiliate of PetroChina Company Limited. It is mainly engaged in the exploration, development, gathering, transportation and sales of oil and gas resources in the Junggar Basin and its peripheral basins.

Electric Trace Heating Scope

Freeze protection and thermal insulation for pipelines, storage tanks and equipment involved in new construction, technical renovation, maintenance and repair works of all subsidiaries, secondary units, design institutes and other affiliated institutions under Karamay Oilfield.

Heat Tracing Solution

Trace heating is applied to pipelines for oil production and refining processes, including process pipelines, crude oil pipelines, water pipelines and other equipment requiring heat tracing. Self-regulating or constant-power heating cables are selected and deployed in strict compliance with process temperature requirements.
