Mineral insulated heating cable(MI cable)

Mineral insulated heating cable (MI cable) consists of single‑core and twin‑core conductors, high‑dielectric magnesium oxide insulation layer and a seamless metallic outer sheath. The heating cable end is connected with cold leads and sealing kits. A variety of core conductor materials and outer sheath materials are available to select suitable heating cables for diverse application requirements. Multiple reinforced anti‑corrosion outer sheaths are optional. A wide range of core resistance values enables matching heating cable lengths for various power outputs and rated voltages under different working conditions.

 

Mineral insulated heating cable is suitable for applications requiring high power output, high exposure temperature and strong environmental corrosion resistance. When the required power output or temperature resistance exceeds the limit of polymer heating cables, MI heating cable is an optimal solution. The maximum exposure temperature of MI cable heating system reaches 800 °C, and the maximum maintenance temperature is up to 600 °C. It can be used for heat tracing of pipelines, storage tanks, flanges and valves in hazardous and non‑hazardous areas. Temperature control system is generally required. Thanks to stable quality and high reliability, MI heating cable systems have gained long‑term trust and recognition from customers. A grounding ring shall be fitted during installation.
